1. Installation instrument

Before using the dent measurement gage, the instrument needs to be installed. Place the dent measurement gage on a stable workbench, connect it to the USB interface, and install the corresponding software.

2. Sample preparation

Prepare the samples that need to be tested for dents and process them accordingly. The surface of the sample should be as smooth as possible to avoid large roughness or uneven surfaces. If there are large foreign objects or depressions on the surface of the sample, grinding or polishing can be performed first.

3. Test steps

Place the sample on the test stage and adjust the height of the test stage so that the distance between the sample surface and the probe is within the normal range. Start the computer software, select the corresponding test parameters, such as test mode, sampling rate, scanning range, etc., and start the test after confirming the parameters. The probe will automatically scan the sample and obtain corresponding data. After the test is completed, save all data and analyze it.
